Program Overview

This one-day workshop is jam-packed with useful information about how to consciously set up your organization’s change efforts for the greatest likelihood of success, and how to be the most effective change consultant and change leader. We will introduce foundational models for understanding the realities of complex organizational change and explore the most comprehensive process model for leading change: Being First’s Change Leader’s Roadmap. Beyond enabling your individual change efforts to succeed, this session will also introduce cutting-edge thinking and practice for creating the strategic disciplines and infrastructures for leading all of your organization’s changes most effectively undefined change at the enterprise level. To further strengthen your effectiveness, we will address the power of mindset and how to develop yourself to be the most potent agent of change.

The workshop leader is Linda Ackerman Anderson, co-author of Beyond Change Management: How to Achieve Breakthrough Results from Conscious Change Leadership, and The Change Leader’s Roadmap: How to Navigate Your Organization’s Transformation. She will feature some of the latest thinking from the new editions of these books, and provide useful handouts to support your application of the material. Although your attendance at the March 1st session is not essential, Linda will further explore the best practices she names in the keynote in this one-day session. Together, the two programs will be extremely valuable to deepen your understanding of the realities of leading complex change most effectively. Bring your live change efforts to both sessions so you can begin to apply this most valuable information immediately.


Linda Ackerman Anderson is co-founder of Being First, Inc., a consulting, training and publishing firm specializing in change leadership development and transformational change for Fortune 1000 businesses, government, the military and large not-for-profit organizations. She is a masterful change strategist and speaks about leading conscious transformation at national and international conferences. She is known as an inspiring model of her message that devotes herself to teaching others the best practices she has developed from over thirty years of being a coach to senior executive change leaders.

Ackerman Anderson has led the thirty-year development of Being First’s renowned change process methodology, The Change Leader’s Roadmap. The industry journal, The Organization Development Practitioner, calls the Anderson’s Change Leader’s Roadmap methodology "the most comprehensive and immediately usable of all approaches available." Ms. Ackerman Anderson also devotes herself to supporting women as leaders of change, and is currently finishing her next book on working women’s issues.

Ms. Ackerman Anderson has published over fifty articles on change leadership. She was a founding leader of the field of Organization Transformation in the 1980’s. Currently, she co-authors the industry blog at
